Wednesday Drinks : The GoGo-Rita

Blissdom was a lot of fun and I was happy to connect with a few brands that I hadn’t before. One is a favorite of my kids, GoGoSqueez! Their suite was amazing (more on that in a few days) but what I really loved was their fun attitude. Which totally showed with their custom cocktail: The GoGo-Rita. Why should our kids keep the deliciousness all to themselves.

The GoGoRita The Ultimate Mommy Cocktail

So easy to make, so delicious to drink.

1c ice
2oz tequila
1 pouch of GoGo Squeez applesauce
(any flavor will do, pick your kid’s least favorite!)
1oz sour mix or 1oz lime juice

Pour ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Garnish with the fruits of the flavor you picked.

Recipe courtesy of GoGoSqueeze and shared with permission. I did tweak slightly to add a natural flavor alternative and more alcohol.

  1. Love this! How clever!

  2. Good morning, darling.

As one of those girls who doesn’t drink alcohol…

I’ll pause here and let everyone get over it.

No, I’m not pregnant. No, I’m not a recovering alcoholic. No, I’m not a current alcoholic. No, I’m not sad about it. I seem to do just fine without it.

    Anyhoo…

I just thought I would mention that you CAN substitute Sprite or ginger ale in lieu of the alky-hall, and then the kids can dig it, too.

During BlissDom, the folks at GoGo Squeez made a non-alcoholic version for me and a few of the women who had muffins in the oven.

    It was yummy.

  3. Thanks for posting this! I didn’t get a chance to get a copy of the recipe.

  4. Love that “Pick your kid’s least favorite” LOL My son loves Every one of the GoGO Squeezes so that is hard for me :) Great idea to freeze them! My son will love to eat them frozen too and I can make a “Mommy Drink” with mine.

  5. Sounds delicious! Gonna have to try that. My usual favorite at night with my hubby every now and then is a whiskey sour or a hot toddy, but this might have to be tried. Thanks!
