Wow, what a day! It was my fourth day this week volunteering at the girls’ school. Though I joked on Twitter that I needed to get a hobby instead of hanging with the pint size crew every day, I really am grateful that I get to spend this time volunteering at their school. I know it is not something every parent has the time or luxury of doing!

Today I totally feel like Oprah. Not only was my page rank changed to a three today (thanks Google) but I also have a super duper awesome giveaway! I’ve been in the midst of the purge of 2013 things in order to complete my resolution as soon as possible. I could take all year by just doing five things a day but these marathon purges are so much more satisfying. As I worked my way through the girls room, I noticed how many random small things they have. The clutter of them kills me but what kills me more is the money they represent, a dollar here and there adds up to a lot. If I could do it all over again, I would definitely spend more on less. Having a few well made toys is so much better than than having a pile of cheap things.
